About Kelsey Maree

Kelsey-Maree, the New Zealand born performer, grew up on the Gold Coast in QLD, Australia, where she began dancing, singing and acting at a young age. As all of her family members were musicians, she played piano, drums and flute for many years, as well as excelling in acting, dancing and singing. Her best subjects at school were music, drama, dance and English. She loved to write - particularly short stories and poetry, later moving into writing music, and taking her singing more seriously. Kelsey trained with NIDA and Spotlight theatre as well as several top dance schools in QLD. She was successful in booking several commercials and 2 television series as a child. After high school Kelsey moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion professionally. Upon arrival, she toured with Disney’s Drew Seeley and worked for Nick Cannon. And since she has been sign as a solo recording artist and actress with Milian Management. She has worked with many international stars, including Christina Milian, Ne-Yo and Kellie Pickler. She was brought up listening to Mo-Town, and performing in the theatre, so a lot of her inspiration comes from both those genres. She describes her music as "dark pop", and is working toward creating a unique sound. Kelsey-Maree is ready to change the game. “11 is my lucky number, so no doubt… this is the year I’m gonna take over the world!”
