About 4Flava
DIVVA CHAN aka KARAMEL Her FLAVA is Dominican/Barbadian, the most experienced of the FLAVAs- funny, outgoing- a real chatterbox- she loves having a laugh with the girls. Her first foray as an artiste was with female vocal trio FIERCE. They managed 4 top 20 hits, crowned by a top 3, with a cover of Anita Baker's 'Sweet Love'-they went on to be the UK tour support for Whitney Houston, Puff Daddy. Another Level amongst others- from an early age KARAMEL has always had a passion for performing- using the mirror as her audience- singing along to the likes of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey- even Kylie got a look in! It was a dream come true when the opportunity arose to meet her idol, Whitney Houston, whilst supporting the bonafide Diva on her last UK tour- as a member of FIERCE, who have now evolved into 4FLAVA. She is a very versatile studio vocalist with influences ranging from- Mary J Blige, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Faith Evans to country songstress Leanne Rhymes- having extensive experience on the live circuit. With her passion growing as an all round entertainer- KARAMEL is looking forward to growing into an all round artist- producing, performing, writing- even acting. Another passion for our lady FLAVA- maybe even a collaboration with one or all of her influences! Defiantly, she is the lead FLAVA - her immediate ambition is to achieve global success as part of 4FLAVA! KARAMEL is our main lead vocalist and MC.
CINNAMON aka SOPHIE MAXWELL From Surrey. Her FLAVA is English Rose. A bubbly personality, with an enchanting smile, and a feminine nature - a bright, confident FLAVA- full of life. She encapsulates all that is professional about 4FLAVA. Having a great passion for singing and performing- as soon as she could stand in front of a mirror it was clear she was going to be a star- it was truly written in the stars! Her most vibrant memories of performing are at drama school- filled with many high points which stood her apart from her fellow contemporaries. Having the support of her loving parents- who encouraged her to pursue her dreams- she became a member of girl group ADDICTIVE GIRLZ- but yearned to take her career to another level. The opportunity to join 4FLAVA- arose and it being her dream come true as a singing and recording artiste, she felt she was now on her true life’s path- Sophie is sexy and cool- a real team player and friendly FLAVA in every way- CINNAMON is a lead vocalist.
ZAHRA PALMER aka COCO Our Northern chick from Wolverhampton- her FLAVA is Jamaican/English. A consummate professional in every way, she had her first taste of music the day her mother brought her home from hospital- her father placed some earphones on her ears and played her some reggae music. From that moment on, it was evident music would be her first love, especially as her father, while in reggae band 'The Sons Of David’, toured all around the world and it seemed Zahra was destined to follow in her father’s footsteps. While attending a strict Convent School- her vocal skills developed far beyond her years- writing songs from the age of five- up until her late teens doing ballet dancing, tap dancing- onto a local drama school- always the lead singer and actress in her school plays- she was a total extrovert! After leaving school Zahra joined a band called Melodi Brown and they were signed to Polydor and Murlyn. The performed at Gay Pride in London, Party In The Park, Party In The Dark - a Tour with Galaxy Radio with the likes of Five, Romeo, Tim Deluxe and many more. They also appeared on T4, Pop World and the Ralf Little Show- sadly after 3 yrs no single was ever released- roll onto 2008-Zahra appeared on X-Facto- out of 180,000 hopefuls got down to the final 50 in boot camp. Simon Cowell famously stated that 'she had the best body he had ever seen in his whole life’! COCO is a lead vocalist- 2009 promises to be a great year for Zahra and 4FLAVA- so watch this space!
JORDANA aka HONEY Who hails South London. Her exotic FLAVA is Brazilian/Jamaican. She is like a breath of fresh air- cool and focused. Jordana adds a wealth of experience-cutting her teeth in the studio in NY, LA and Atlanta as an actress. (US films. Impulse, Hard Rock, Fast and Furious. TV. The Bill, Ignition, Elf Oil) and as a dancer with Blazin Squad, Amerie, P , Samantha Mumba, Kano, Clothes Show Live, Dynamite MC, Theatre. Peter Pan, Chicago. Very passionate about performing, her music influences range from Michael and Janet Jackson (we all love Michael!), Karen Carpenter, Pharrell Williams, Etta James, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keyes, and Destiny’s Child. She brings a positive calming energy to the team. Right now she is having the time of her life as our HONEY FLAVA. A much valued FLAVA indeed- HONEY is a lead vocalist.
The brainchild of JNJ ARTISTE MGMT who after taking a good look at the UK Urban/Pop Market, felt it was time to introduce a quality vocal based Urban/Pop girl group (as they did back in 99 with vocal trio FIERCE) who would have the ability to compete on a US dominated, UK and World platform, we believe that currently there are huge opportunities for 4FLAVA to go all the way.
4FLAVA The group 4FLAVA is a marketing dream, they are 4 talented, beautiful, sexy ladies who believe in being ambitious and focused, they know where they want to go and what they want to achieve.
The ladies are known for their awesome live performances with banging live vocals, which some cannot decipher between the actual track and the live vocals such is pure clarity. The formulae of having 4 gorgeous ladies who can sing and who are UK based, is what we believe can make 4FLAVA aspire into an international sensation!
Visualize for a moment, these ladies on a billboard, performing in front of thousands of fans or in a TV advert for anything from ice cream (Magnum 4FLAVA!) to a new make-up range, or the formerly prestigious and now sadly departed TOTP, (remember the impact that En Vogue had with those 4 little dresses?) a Party In the Park event or even a school tour, here there is FLAVA for everyone, whatever your taste or desire our ladies have it all.
